This is a Lachenal 62-Key Maccann Duet with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads and valves in recent years, and has been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a concertina we’ve owned for a number of years, but was away with a stockist of our instruments for quite a while, which is why we’ve never advertised it ourselves before. It’s a ‘cottage’ shaped instrument, but in every other way it’s a standard 62-Key Maccann, and it’s a good player too- responsive with a lovely, balanced tone. Whilst the shape of this concertina might mean that it’s not for everyone, a Maccann with this many buttons is the second most-desirable to a 57-Key, and it’s a good quality one at a lower price- simply because it’s been with us for quite a while now and we like to refresh stock when we can.
