This is a Lachenal 26-Key Anglo in C/G. It has a full set of steel reeds and 5-fold bellows. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a cracking little instrument for the price. Whilst it is one of Lachenal’s budget models (with the mahogany ends and bone buttons), the reeds are from one of Lachenal’s top periods (serial number 168688). Whilst a 26-Key will never be world-beating, and will most likely end up being a part on the journey towards a 30+ button anglo, this is a really nice example of a lower-end anglo and will allow a player more options than a 20-key would.
