We don’t sell unrestored instruments very often, but when something this unique comes along then we’ll make an exception! This is an extremely early Wheatstone 48-Key Concertina, and it is an example of one of Wheatstone’s first production model styles. Everything about the concertina has remained untouched, and the bellows are certainly not airtight, but we’re selling this as it is because, in such an original state, this is a real piece of concertina history and definitely a collector’s item rather than a playing instrument for a musician.
The serial number of the instrument is 813, and it was sold in 1844.
Model: 48-Key Treble
