This is a Wheatstone 48-Key Treble with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads and valves, and been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a really nice raised-metal-ended Treble concertina from what we believe to be Wheatstone’s very best period. It is very responsive, and has a bright tone whilst still being balanced, which displays a level of quality you might not get from the very bright Lachenal New Model equivalent. It is in good original condition, and comes with fitted wrist straps- something which can be a big selling point for some players.
