This is a Tidy Lachenal 48-Key Tutor Model with brass reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and has been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz). It has a set of 5-fold bellows.

This is a very tidy example of a Lachenal tutor model. They’re generally not as messed-around-with as their budget anglo counterparts, but nevertheless it’s quite rare to find one that has been kept in such good condition.

It has a nice, mellow tone due the brass reeds, and it plays fairly quickly for an instrument of this quality.
