This is a lovely Wheatstone 48-Key Treble tutor model with brass reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This really is a great little player, and in extremely tidy condition too. the serial number of the instrument is 20905 which places it into riveted reed period. Whilst the reeds are brass, they are very good Wheatstone brass reeds as opposed to budget brass reeds you might find on other instruments, and as a result, they play quickly and with a lovely tone. There is a drawback to this concertina as it only has 4 fold bellows, but the efficiency of the instrument in construction means that this isn’t as much of a drawback as it might be on other concertinas.
