This is a Lachenal Paragon 48-Key Treble which has had new pads, valves, bushings, straps and 6-fold bellows, and has been tuned to concert pitch. It has also had a crack on the left hand side repaired and solidified, and the ends have been refinished, meaning that it looks (for the most part) like a new instrument.
The Paragon is an instrument we haven’t really been able to keep in stock over the last year and a half- as soon as they come in they seem to go just as quickly due to the fact that they’re the perfect upgrade for somebody looking to move on from their first tutor-model instrument. Whilst Paragons will never be in the same league as your Aeolas or Edeophones, they’re perfectly capable of holding their own for most musicians, and this one is a fine player.
