This is a Lachenal 48-key Treble with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves, and bushings, and has been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a very nice example of a higher-grade ‘tutor model’ concertina. It is a responsive player with a well-balanced tone, and is in pretty good aesthetic condition overall for an instrument of this level. This model of budget concertina is faster and more responsive than cheaper versions, and just looks higher quality too.
