This is a Lachenal 48-Key Baritone with brass reeds. As a commission sale, it has been checked through by us to ensure that all of the notes are playing properly, but is otherwise sold in the condition it arrived with us in, and is not guaranteed by us after the week’s approval period.

This is a nice baritone, with a tone that really suits a concertina in this pitch. It is a pretty responsive player for something with such big reeds, and has a lovely mellow tone thanks to its higher-quality Lachenal brass reeds. It has had new bellows, bushings and straps, and been refinished at some point of its life, which means it’s looking really nice and tidy. It also has the benefit of wrist straps, which isn’t the standard for baritones generally.

Baritones are always highly sought after, and this is a really nice one at the lower end of the Baritone price-scale.
