This is a Lachenal 20-Key miniature English concertina. It has been fitted with new pads and valves, and tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a fairly unique to find. Miniature concertinas are rare enough, but a miniature that can play properly without the need for repeated push and pull on a single note is even rare. It is 3 and 3/4 inches across, and because this is slightly bigger than other miniatures, it means that the bellows are much more efficient and powerful.

The lowest note on the right is a C5, and the highest note on the left is a G6.

This is one of the more playable and practical miniatures you’re likely to find, so if you’re looking to add your collection then this might be the perfect concertina for you!
