This is a Wheatstone Aeola 67-Key Maccann with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads and valves, and tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz). The serial number is 30593.

We’ve been running fairly short of Maccann Duets with a higher number of keys recently, so we’re very excited to have a concertina as nice as this come into stock. The Wheatstone Aeola is the pinnacle of both English and Duet-system concertinas, and this Aeola also happens to come from the very top period of Wheatstone’s manufacturing, which should tell you about the quality of it. It’s in very tidy condition all-round, and it’s a lovely player with a beautiful tone.

We really wish that we got Duets of this quality into stock frequently, but that simply isn’t proving to be the case at the moment. If this Aeola catches your eye, please do get in touch today because we don’t expect it to be around for long at all.
