This is a Wheatstone Aeola 57-Key Maccann Duet with steel reeds, and it has been fitted with new 8-fold bellows, pads and valves, and has been tuned to concert pitch. The concertina also has neck-strap fittings. The serial number of the instrument is 31423 which we believe to be Wheatstone’s very best period.

This concertina has just come into stock from an accordion dealer overseas who made the bellows out of accordion-bellows materials as opposed to leather. They are completely airtight and extremely supple, and we made the decision to leave them on the instrument as they do work extremely well. This is reflected in the price of the concertina, which is less than you would usually be paying for an instrument of this quality.

This is the perfect sized Maccann duet for most folk-playing musicians as it is the smallest Maccann that goes down to a C on the right hand side.

The concertina comes with its original hide leather case which is in good condition.
