This is a Marcus 30-Key Anglo in C/G with accordion reeds. This is a commission sale, which means we have checked the instrument over to make sure everything is working, but otherwise is sold in the condition we received it in.

We generally don’t recommend hybrid concertinas, especially when they cost more money and lose more value than genuine concertina-reeded instruments, but the Marcus is one that we’ve always liked- especially when bought second hand. They are responsive instruments, due to the accordion reeds being naturally very fast, and whilst accordion-reeded concertinas will never really sound like a genuine concertina, it’s close enough when you take into account the fact that you’re getting a metal-ended 30-Key anglo for £1500.

Marcus anglos have a dedicated fanbase amongst the concertina community, so this could be perfect for somebody that-way-inclined!
