Lachenal 32-Key Anglo in G/D

This is a Lachenal 32-Key Anglo in G/D with steel reeds, and it has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps.

As you can see in the fretwork (the letters ‘SA’), this is an instrument made by Lachenal for the Salvation Army/ a Salvation Army musician. The serial number is 187944.

The two extra keys are notes, as opposed to the cock crow and bird-whistle you might find on a lot of Lachenal 32-Key anglos.
