This is a Lachenal 32-Key Anglo in G/D with steel reeds. It has been fully restored in the last couple of years, and is tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a model of Lachenal Anglo that has proved to be extremely popular over the last couple of years. The fully restored Lachenal anglo with metal ends and metal buttons is at the top end of Lachenal’s anglo range, and falls into a middle price-range before the big jump up to Wheatstone and Jeffries top concertinas. This is a very nice example. As you can see, it’s in fantastic aesthetic condition, and it plays very well. Responsive and with that lovely rich tone you’ll often get from a G/D instrument. Obviously it will never play quite as fast as a C/G, but it definitely isn’t lacking.

We don’t have a huge amount of G/D instruments in stock at the moment, so this one won’t be around for long.
