This is a Lachenal 30-Key in C/G with steel reeds and 5-fold bellows. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This a fairly standard light-wood Lachenal anglo but it’s playing quickly and has a good, balanced tone. It’s also in very good aesthetic condition, with the ends being almost like-new. The 5-fold bellows are a slight disadvantage in comparison to models with a set of 6-fold, but it’s an efficient instrument and you don’t notice the difference too much.

A really nice upgrade for somebody looking to move on from their first 20/26-key anglo.
