This is a Lachenal 30-Key Anglo in C/G with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and has been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a chance to buy a genuine concertina-reeded 30-Key anglo for a very low price- if you don’t mind the instrument being a little rougher aesthetically, that is. As you can see in the pictures, the woodwork is a little more worn than on most concertinas, and there is a crack to the fretwork on the right hand (but the crack is stable and non-moving). That aside, this is a very nice playing concertina for the price- responsive and with a good set of Lachenal reeds. This is a good couple of hundred pounds cheaper than it would be in better condition, so it’s a bargain!
