This is a Lachenal 30-Key Anglo in C/G with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps in recent years, and has been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This Lachenal 30-Key is a fair bit cheaper than most of our Rosewood 30-Key Lachenals because, whilst there is nothing really wrong with it at all, it just isn’t at the level of the other concertinas we have in stock of this model. It isn’t quite as responsive as the top versions, but it does have a softer, more mellow tone- this might be exactly what somebody is looking for. Other than that, it’s in good condition. The 6-fold bellows look great, and the ends are very tidy apart from some slight damage around the central screw on the right end. We believe this is a fair price for the instrument, and to clarify once again, it has no problems- it just wasn’t quite made to the same standard as the others that we have in stock.
