This is a Lachenal 26-Key Anglo in C/G with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

Whilst a 26-Key will never be quite as useful or versatile as a 30-Key Anglo, they’re generally much higher quality and more useful concertinas than a 20-Key, and are much more affordable than their 30-Key equivalents. This is a very nice-playing example of a pretty basic Lachenal 26-Key. It’s a rough looking concertina with wear to the wooden ends, but it is responsive with a balanced tone. A really great Anglo for the price.
