This is a Lachenal 20-Key in C/G with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads and valves, and been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

The 20-Key is the perfect starting point for somebody looking to learn the Anglo concertina system, and this is a nice example of the model. It’s a slightly later-period Lachenal (stock number 181121), but this was seemingly before Lachenal’s quality dropped substantially as it is a good player for a 20-Key- pretty responsive with a balanced tone.
