This is a Lachenal 20-Key Anglo in C/G with Steel Reeds (Serial Number 199051). It has been fitted with new pads and valves, and tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

As we say of any Lachenal from this particular period, they will never be as high quality as concertinas made 20/30 years before, but nonetheless this is a good playing instrument for a 20-Key. It’s in extremely good condition cosmetically, and comes complete with the original baffles in each end. It’s a fairly fast player with a balanced tone. Ideal for somebody looking to find their first anglo, or to move on from a cheap accordion-reeded instrument.
