This is a Jeffries 30-Key Anglo in C/G with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a really nice example of a Jeffries, with all of the qualities that people associate with the make- fast, responsive, and that unique Jeffries tone that no other maker has been able to emulate. It was originally in Bb/F and has been re-pitched at some point in its life, but all of the reeds are original which is rare for a Jeffries! It does lack the usual decorative bellows and papers you might expect on a Jeffries, but the bellows do have the benefit of being 7-fold and fully played-in, meaning none of the stiffness is present that you might get with a new set of bellows.
