This is a Jeffries 45-Key Anglo in C/G with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and been tuned to concert pitch.

Jeffries with over 38 buttons tend not to be as popular as 30/38 key concertinas are due to the little bit of extra weight, but they’re still proper Jeffries and are very good players- especially so for musicians who like an array of extra accidental notes. This is a very responsive player with that signature Jeffries tone- bright and prominent. It has had two reeds replaced, and a lot of the extra accidentals (outside of the usual 30-Key layout) are in no particular order or follow any specific pattern.
