This is a Wheatstone 48-Key Treble with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves, straps and bellows, and been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

The Wheatstone flat-metal-ended English is a very versatile and quality mid-range concertina that we have a lot of time for. This is a nice example of the model. It has been fitted with new 6-fold bellows, and is a very responsive player. It’s a loud concertina (with plenty of dynamic range) and the tone is brighter, making it a fantastic choice for a tune player who needs some volume in sessions or in outdoor playing.
