This is a Wheatstone Aeola Extended-Treble with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new bellows, bushings, pads, valves and straps, and has been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a very nice player, as you might expect from a top Wheatstone concertina. It has a good set of reeds, and is a responsive player as a result. It’s not quite as bright or forceful as a metal-ended Aeola can be- it’s a more balanced instrument that obviously still leans slightly towards the brighter side of the tone spectrum.
