This is a Wheatstone Aeola 56-Key Tenor-Treble with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and has been tuned to concert pitch. Serial number 31918.

This is a really lovely Tenor-Treble, and about as good as you can get. It is a nice, light action with a very responsive set of reeds, and a really well-balanced tone. We consider Wheatstones in the 31xxx serial number range to be the best instrument the company ever made, and this seems to back that theory up. A lovely concertina.
