This is a Wheatstone 56-Key Tenor Treble concertina with new pads and valves, and it has been tuned to concert pitch.
According to the Wheatstone ledgers, this concertina was made in December 1955, and it is in virtually mint condition. Whilst these later period Wheatstones will never compete with the ‘golden age’ of their manufacturing, it’s still a nice playing instrument and the price reflects the period it’s from and the fact that it’s fairly basic in comparison to most Wheatstone Tenor Trebles, which would usually be Aeolas.
Model: 56-Key Tenor Treble
