This is a Lachenal Paragon Treble with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and has been tuned to concert pitch.

The wear and metal protective guards around the buttons give an indication of just how much this concertina has been played in its life, and whilst it may be a little rough, it really does play. A nice set of steel reeds which are responsive and provide a balanced tone, fitted with a modern set of 6-fold bellows. A solid all-rounder.
