This is a Lachenal Edeophone Extended-Treble with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads and valves, and has been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This later period of Lachenal Edeophone tends to produce the highest-quality English concertinas the company made. This is a lovely player- a very nice, light action with a really responsive set of reeds, producing a lovely balanced tone. Tonally, this would be a really special concertina for song accompaniment.
