This is a George Case 48-Key Treble with brass reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and has been to concert pitch (A=440hz).

George Case concertinas tend to be nice, decorative concertinas with a fairly unique and soft tone. This isn’t the greatest-playing example that we’ve had, but it does have a lovely tone and, at this price point, is great value for money. This would perhaps be best suited for somebody wanting to accompany singing with chordal playing- aided by the 5-fold bellows which actually expand very reasonably.
