This is a Lachenal Edeophone 72-Key Maccann with steel reeds. It has been refinished, fitted with new pads, valves, straps and bushings, and has been tuned to concert pitch.

This is a big Maccann, measuring at 10 inches across the flats. But it is undoubtedly a quality instrument. It has a fantastic set of steel reeds and a lovely tone, and it’s range goes down to an F2.
