This is a Lachenal 46-Key Maccann Duet with steel reeds. It is fitted with new pads, valves and straps and is tuned to concert pitch.

Whilst this isn’t the tidiest of instruments, it’s a great concertina for somebody looking to explore the Maccann system for the first time. It has a set of good Lachenal steel reeds so plays pretty well, and as with all of our instruments, it can be traded in at the price you paid for it if you were to upgrade to a higher grade Maccann with more buttons.
