This is a Lachenal 39-Key Maccann with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new bellows, pads, valves and straps, and has been tuned to concert pitch.

A 39-Key is obviously not one of the more versatile Maccanns, but it’s a great introduction to the system at a lower price. This one is a good player, and has the rare benefit on an instrument of this value of having a new set of 6-fold bellows.
