This is a Wolverton 30-Key in C/G (Hybrid Concertina) that is in the same condition as it was when it was made. It is tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

We don’t tend to stock many concertinas from modern makers, especially hybrid instruments (accordion-reeded), but from time to time we’ll take them in through a part-exchange, and if they’re decent instruments then we’ll put them on this website! This is a very decent concertina for what it is. Whilst accordion-reeded instruments will never really sound like a genuine concertina, they do play fast and this particular Wolverton plays extremely loudly. This is more for somebody looking to cut through in sessions than somebody who wants to accompany their vocals quietly.
