This is a Wheatstone 32-Key Anglo in C/G with steel reeds.. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and tuned to concert pitch (A=44-hz).

The serial number is hard to determine, but we believe it might be 28263.

This is a really nice example of a top Wheatstone Anglo. Whilst they might never be as desirable as a Jeffries due to the fact that a Jeffries tone is so unique in comparison to a Wheatstone, it doesn’t detract from the fact that this is a very high quality instrument made with extremely good Wheatstone reeds. A fast player with a lovely, balanced tone.
