This is a Lachenal 32-Key Anglo in C/G with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads, valves, straps and bellows. It has been tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz). The extra two buttons are a bird-whistle and a cock-crow.

This is a very typical example of a Lachenal rosewood anglo. It’s the most common and popular mid-range anglo concertina, and this one is a very nice player. It is responsive with a rounded, balanced tone. Aesthetically it isn’t perfect, displaying the usual signs of wear and tear you’d expect from an instrument of its age. But it does have the benefit of a new set of 6-fold bellows which are sure to last a very long time (probably longer than all of us!).
