A rare Lachenal 30 key. It arrived in A/E and that appeared to be its original keys according to the stamps on the major reeds.

Obviously it has a much greater saleability in the keys of G/D as they are the keys for Morris Dancing and English sessions so we dropped it down.

It has rosewood ends, bone buttons, steel reeds and 6 fold bellows.

We have repadded and re valved it plus adding new straps and tuning to G/D concert pitch.

It plays well and is in good original condition-some wear marks but no obvious damage and you won’t find many 30 key Lachenals from this period in better condition unless they have had major rebuilds.
