This is a Lachenal 20-Key in C/G with steel reeds (body serial number 96088/ reedpans 190000+). It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and has been tuned to concert pitch.

This is a decent example of one of the most affordable models of anglo concertina. It has a decent set of reeds, and a balanced tone. This is a marriage concertina- the ends and bellows frames have the serial number 96088, and the reedpans have a serial number around 190000. This means that the reeds do come from a weaker period in Lachenal’s production, but it is very cheap as a result.
