This is a Jeffries 46-Key Anglo in Bb/F. It has been fitted with new pads, valves and straps, and tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).
Jeffries are undoubtedly the King of the anglo concertina, and this is a nice example. The two downsides of an instrument like this for some musicians would be the number of buttons and the key. The ideal number for a Jeffries anglo is 38-Keys, which would make the concertina lighter than this one. Regarding the key, there was a time when Bb/F anglos would never sell in Ireland or for people playing Irish musicians, but that seems to have changed slightly over time. An anglo in Bb/F is perfect for playing with certain instruments, such as some brass or pipes. For the reasons mentioned above, this is your chance to get a very nice Jeffries concertina at a reasonably lower price than some alternatives, and neither of those things affect how well the concertina plays.
