This is a 32-Key Anglo in G/D with Lachenal steel reeds, made by Cornwall-based maker David Leggett. It comes fitted with a new set of 7-fold bellows made by Rosalie Dipper.
This is a very interesting concertina. David Leggett referred to himself as an ‘amateur concertina maker’, and with this instrument he repurposed Lachenal reeds and built the rest of the concertina around them. It has a riveted action, and plays pretty well. It has a nice, balanced tone- not too loud or harsh, and not too mellow or quiet. This is a concertina in immaculate condition with an excellent set of Dipper bellows- if you’re looking for a G/D anglo then you can’t go wrong with this!
