A tidy Lachenal Paragon-the model with rosewood ends. metal buttons and usually-5 fold bellows.
It is number 49701 probably around 1910.
It has the normal Paragon features mentioned above and has steel reeds-as most do have.
It has just been fitted with new pads, valves, straps and tuned to concert pitch.
It plays easily and well with a mellow sound-probably because it still has its original cloth baffles behind the fret. It is in good condition and will suit a serious beginner or a keen improver as it is middle quality-not a tutor model.
One of piles of English concertinas -most of which are not on the website-so ASK !!
Model: 48 Key Paragon
