This is a Lachenal 30-Key Anglo in Bb/F with steel reeds. It has been fitted with new pads and valves, and tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).

This is a really nice example of a Lachenal rosewood 30-Key anglo. It is in very tidy condition, with the huge benefit of 7-fold bellows with lovely gold papers. Concertinas in Bb/F always have a noticeably different tone to those in C/G- it is more rich and rounded, being slightly less harsh or treble-y. This concertina has a fantastic rich tone and feels very good to play- responsive and easy to play with the earlier-period, larger bone buttons.

A very nice alternative to your C/G instrument.
